“A
Little Piece of Heaven” For Rent
Recently,
we purchased a piece of property located about 25 km north of
here adjacent to Algonquin Park. The vista from the front window
is a spectacular scene overlooking the forest canopy.
The
master plan is to fix it up over the next 2 or 3 years and move there
permanently. During this “fixer-upper” phase, we are offering the house
for rent at a considerable discount. The extra money will allow us to
panel the walls with fine exotic woods and imported Italian tiles, etc.
Weekends
will cost $90.00 Cdn. and a seven-day week will go for $300.00 Cdn. If
you do the math, and if you’re coming from the States, with the
exchange on our dollar, it’s not much more than beer money.
